Fire Assay Furnace
A Fire Assay Furnace is a high-temperature oven used in the process of fire assaying, which is a standard method for determining the precious metal content (typically gold, silver, and platinum group metals) in ores, concentrates, or refined metals. This method is one of the most accurate and widely accepted techniques for precious metal analysis. The furnace is made with high-quality materials, has good insulation to reduce heat loss, a cooling feature, and a rust-resistant outer body.
- The furnace uses at least two heaters for even heating. The heaters are made of Kanthal A-1 or better, and the inner tubes are made of quartz or better. The temperature can rise at 5 °C per minute.
- Gas Holder: The gas holder is to be connected through the stopcock by rubber to a suspended glass reservoir using a pulley as per IS 1353 standard. We will provide the scrubber is a glass tube with a valve at the bottom and an inlet. It holds dilute sulfuric acid to soak up ammonia gas. Also provide the top has a rubber stopper with a bent glass outlet that connects to the gas holder.
- Over temperature protection: Over temperature protection with automatic cut off switch controller to be provided in the equipment.
